The platform
From the survey file to the decision
The real work starts when competitor price surveys come in: turning them into an index that knows your price list and what you actually sell, and seeing where to act.
How it is done today
Spreadsheets
One file per competitor, EANs matched by hand, simple averages instead of weighted indices. Every delivery starts from scratch, and nothing tells you when something changes.
Data provider dashboards
They show that provider’s surveys, but they do not know your price list, your volumes or your hierarchy, and they do not bring several sources together.
Optimisation suites
Powerful but heavy to roll out, and built to set prices rather than to read surveys. If you already use one, Price Intel works alongside it, not in its place.

What Price Intel does
One place for the surveys of the providers you use, read against your prices and your volumes.
Import from several providers
Upload files from the providers you use with a guided import. The platform checks them before using them and tells you what does not add up.
Matching by EAN
Surveys attach to your items by EAN, even when a product has more than one code.
Weighted index at every level
A price index weighted by volume or revenue, with 100 as parity, from department to single item, against the market or against one competitor.
Filters by area, format, channel and cluster
Read your positioning on the stores you care about, with the same views you use for the rest of your work.
Anomalies
Out-of-range prices are flagged and, if you choose, left out of the indices. Corrections stay on record.
Detail by item, competitor and store
From any index you drill down to a single item, a single competitor and a single store.
Export
Take the view you are looking at to XLSX, CSV or JSON, with the same filters.
See it on sample data
In the demo we walk you through the whole path, from the uploaded file to the index by category.

What changed
Automatic alerts and insights, with AI
Rules you set, signals the platform computes on its own and an AI summary when you ask for it: every week you know what changed in your prices and where to look.
Alert rules
You choose what to watch: a category index that shifts, a price that moves past the threshold you set, an item that enters or leaves the survey, a competitor that shows up for the first time. If nothing has changed, the same alert does not repeat.
Automatic signals
Without you asking, the platform points out what is moving the index: the category that weighs most, moves that cancel each other out, a change of direction, comparisons with few items. They are computed on the data, without AI, and each one says how solid it is.
The weekly alert on your key products
Who went on promotion, who moved their prices and what your volumes did in the meantime. These are coincidences in time and Price Intel shows them as such: what they mean is for you to judge.

You search the catalogue
You filter the available surveys by competitor store, category and day, even just where your coverage has gaps.
Once or on an ongoing basis
A one-off survey for a specific check, or an ongoing one to follow a product or a category: weekly or, when you need it, daily.

How Price Intel works
From files to the index, and from the index to alerts, without redoing the work at every delivery.
You upload your price list and surveys, or request them
You import your price list with volumes and the survey files from the providers you use: the platform checks them and tells you what does not add up. If something is missing, you search the survey catalogue.
You read indices and positioning at every level
A weighted index, with 100 as parity, from department down to the single product, against the market or against one competitor.
You receive alerts and insights
The rules you set and the automatic signals tell you what changed. The AI summary, when you ask for it, tells it with its sources.
In the demo you walk through all three, on sample data.

Before you request a demo
Answers to the questions we are asked most often.
Can I use the surveys I already buy?
Yes. You import the files from the providers you use: the platform checks them, matches them to your products by EAN and reads them together with your price list and your volumes. The additional surveys are an option, not an obligation.
Where do the additional surveys come from?
From a specialised partner, with nationwide coverage down to the single store of the grocery retail chains. You pick them from a catalogue of surveys already available, by store and category, and they are available a few hours after the request.
How often is the data updated?
Every day. The catalogue surveys are updated daily: you request them once or on an ongoing basis, and they are available a few hours after the request. The files from the providers you already use come into the platform whenever you upload them.
Do we need to integrate our systems?
No, not to get started. Today you work by importing files: your price list with volumes and the survey files, through a guided import that tells you what does not add up.
Does the AI set the prices?
No, and it does not suggest prices to apply. The AI helps you read the data: it summarises the view you are looking at, answers your questions and shows which data each number comes from. The prices are yours to set.
Is Price Intel in B-AI too?
Yes: Price Intel’s data and method, inside B-AI too, the Market3rs assistant. The pricing agents carry the “Powered by Price Intel” mark and answer questions in natural language. You will find them in the dedicated section.
Which languages is it available in, and what do I see in the demo?
Price Intel is available in Italian and English, like this site and the demo request. In the demo you see Price Intel on sample data, not on other retailers’ data.
